These last few years with our kids we have done some basic Lent devotions that we hope will be building blocks for them to understanding Christ, His death, & Resurrection. This year again we will be doing these as a family & have reserved each Thursday night through Lent to make no outside commitments and spend the evening eating dinner together & going through our devotions as a family. Outside of that, we try to read the nightly stories as much as possible.

I love how simple yet deep this is - Ben and I did an abbreviated version of this last year when you posted, but this year I think we're going to try for the "full" version. I'm not sure who got more out of it - Ben or myself! Such a great way to lead up to the celebration of Easter.
